2 paydays for eligible SSDI recipients from August 1-14
If you are not on SSI, you may also receive the Disability Insurance payment on August 2, as long as you began getting SSDI before May 1997. However, the second payday will not be until August 14.
In fact, it will be 4 days later than in July, which was on July 10. The 2nd Disability Insurance payment will be coming on Aug. 14 for those who are not on Supplemental Security Income, did not get Social Security before May 1997, and were born from the 1-10.
Therefore, if your birth date is after the 10th, you will have to wait one more week or 2 to receive your direct deposit or check. The amount of your payment on August 2 or 14 will depend on several factors.
