No turning back, SSDI beneficiaries do not miss out on this payment from Social Security

Retirees who are in a particular group may get the SSDI benefit from Social Security Administration in the last payment of this month of October

SSDI benefits are about to arrive to the last group in October

The last of the October payments from the Social Security Administration will be sent to United States SSDI beneficiaries this week. After this week, even if there are still days left in October, there will be no more Social Security payments. Neither for disability retirees nor for other types of benefits.

So if you haven’t yet cashed your monthly check you may need to check to see which retiree group you belong to. On the next payday, which is the last one in October, only SSDI beneficiaries in retiree group 4 can collect their benefit. In fact, any beneficiary belonging to group 4. You do not have to have a disability benefit.

An accepted Social Security check is more than enough to get the new day’s payment, plus two other requirements. These other two requirements are essential. If you do not meet these requirements and have an accepted benefit, the check should already be in your bank account.

SSDI recipients outside of retiree group 4 who have not yet been paid should claim their payment from both the bank and Social Security. The rest of the payments have already been sent and should therefore be available to your beneficiaries. Do you know which group of retirees you belong to?

WHO GETS THE LAST SSDI IN OCTOBER?

There are two requirements to receive the last of the October SSDI payments. Each of these requirements is mandatory and essential. This means that we could not have this day’s check without meeting them.

SSDI is a monthly check and you can get the next one if you meet the requirements

Not meeting these conditions does not mean we won’t get a check. Social Security groups get paid on different days, so if we don’t get a check on one day we just have to meet the requirements to get paid on another day.

October 25th is the last day for SSDI payments and beneficiaries must have applied for Social Security after 1997. You must also have a birthday between the 21st and 31st of the month.

It is not necessary to have other requirements in addition to these, but it is advisable to activate Direct Deposit as a payment method. Thanks to this method of payment, you will be able to get your Social Security check, whether it is SSDI or any other, completely instantaneously.

UPCOMING SOCIAL SECURITY PAYMENTS IN NOVEMBER

After the October 25th payment, the Social Security Administration will send out other payments, but we will have to wait until November to see them. This month’s schedule follows the general rules, so we will even have SSI check, unlike October.

The 1st of November 1st will be this month’s Supplemental Security Income payment. This check of up to $914 will reach all retirees on the same day, regardless of their birthday or the year in which they applied for payment.

On the other hand, retirees with a pre-1997 benefit will collect their check on November 3rd. But that is not the last check, as the Administration will then send SSDI payments on the 8th, 15th and 22nd. Post-1997 retirees will collect on one of these days depending on their birthday.

The 8th day is for beneficiaries with birthdays between the 1st and 10th of the month. The payment on the 15th of June is for SSDI beneficiaries with birthdays between the 11th and 20th of the month. And the last payment, on November 22nd, is only for retirees with birthdays between the 21st and 31st of the month. After that, the next payments will arrive in December, where there is a slight irregularity in the calendar.
