This is the last opportunity to get money in September if you are on SSDI benefits. The Social Security Administration has scheduled the last Disability Insurance payment for September 25.

After this SSDI payment, recipients will have to wait until October 3 to get money from the Administration. Bear in mind that the October 3 disability payment is for those who also receive SSI or got benefits before May 1997.

Who can receive $3,822 from SSDI on September 25?

Since this is the maximum amount for Disability Insurance payments, it will only be for those recipients who meet all Social Security requirements. It does not matter the payday, it could be sent on any of them in 2024. To check payday eligibility see details below.

To get so much money from SSDI you must have worked for a minimum of 35 years and in jobs that were covered by SSA. If you did not pay payroll taxes to the Administration, you will not qualify. Requirements continue though.

Workers must have earned the taxable maximum for 35 years too. Besides, the age you file for Social Security Disability Insurance also matters. So, you will need to apply for SSDI as early as allowed to get up to $3,822. However, a disability prevents recipients from choosing the age they file.

SSDI payment eligibility on September 25, do you qualify?

The Social Security Administration will send money to Disability Insurance recipients who meet the birthday requirement on September 25. This payment will only be for those who were born from 21-31 of any month. Needless to say, there are more conditions:

This will be the third round of Wednesday payments. Those who got money from SSA on September 11 and 18 will not get a check or direct deposit from the Administration until October 9 or 16 respectively.
