If you are on disability benefits, these are the important dates you need to take into account before 2023 comes to an end

SSDI payments in November

There are 4 very important dates for SSDI beneficiaries in the United States. After the Supplemental Security Income payment of up to $914 on November 1, there will be a new check on November 3.

Therefore, some recipients will have their money in just a few hours. If you are on both SSI and SSDI, you are in luck. In this case, you are bound to get your Social Security Disability Insurance check on November 3.

Some disability benefits beneficiaries may also qualify for the November 3 payment. This is because they received checks from Social Security before May 1997. So, that is another possibility.

What is the maximum amount for SSDI beneficiaries on the November 3 payment?

In 2023, the maximum amount an SSDI recipient can collect is up to $3,627. Usually, a disability starts a lot before retirement. Therefore, you may not have had enough time to work and pay taxes to the Social Security Administration (SSA).

Not paying taxes to SSA means that you will not receive any retirement or SSDI benefits. Thus, the earlier you start paying taxes as you work the better. Sometimes your employer does not pay does not pay the right amount and this could reduce your future benefits.

Which other SSDI payments are there in November?

The Social Security Administration has announced three more SSDI payments after November 3. Apart from not receiving benefits before May 1997, there is another condition.

The first check on November 8 could be yours if your birth date is from the 1st to the 10th. The average payment for SSDI beneficiaries is $1,486 as of September 2023 said SSA on their monthly statistical snapshot.

November 15 will be payday if your birthday is after the 10th and up to the 20th. Remember that their maximum amounts are also $3,627 for 2023 and they will not increase until January 2023.

Social Security Disability Insurance recipients whose birthdays are from the 21st to the 31st can collect their monthly payment on November 22. So, this will be the last payday in November 2023.

December will have 4 paydays for those on Social Security Disability Insurance. December 1, 13, 20 and 27. If your SSDI check is too low, apply for SSI and get more money every month.
