SSDI requirements for July 24
The main condition for receiving a Social Security Disability Insurance payment on July 24 has to do with your birth date. However, it will not be enough. First, make sure you were born after the 20th of any month.
Secondly, you cannot have been on Social Security before May 1997. In third place, you cannot be receiving Supplemental Security Income, popularly known as SSI.
So, if you were born from 21-31, and meet the rest of the requirements, you will receive a new payment on July 24. In fact, this will be the last payment in July. It can be worth $3,822 if you earned the taxable maximum for 35 years in jobs covered by SSA and filed as late as SSA allows for SSDI.
SSDI payments in August
The Social Security Administration has scheduled 4 different payment dates for Disability Insurance. It will depend on when you started receiving benefits and when your birthday is.
For example, if you started collecting SSDI before May 1997, your next disability benefit will be due on August 2, 2024. Another possibility is to receive money on August 2 is to receive both SSI and SSDI.
This happens when you have a low income. The last three payments are for those who do not qualify for August 2 and meet the birthday requirement. For instance, if you were born from 1-10, you get your money on August 14.
The next payday for SSDI recipients will be on August 21 if you were born from 11-20. If you were born later than that, your next payment will be due on August 28.
