SSA claims that some States supplement Federal SSI benefit payments. They do it with additional payments. As a consequence, Supplemental Security Income recipients in these States receive higher benefits than in those States where there is no supplementary payment.
Which States do not have a Supplementary payment for SSI?
Unfortunately, some Supplemental Security Income recipients do not get these Supplementary payments in the United States. Here is the full list of States that do not give Supplementary payments:
