Life is about celebrating all the good things that happen to you. Social Security retirement checks are going to be soon in your possession. So, learn when your next payment will be in your bank account.
The Wednesday round of payments will start on October 11 and will be over on October 25. As a matter of fact, this money will be yours as long as you meet 2 conditions.
First, those who filed for Social Security after April 30, 1997, may be eligible for the first check. The second condition has to do with your birth date. If your birthday is from the first day of the month through the tenth, this check will be yours. The best gift indeed.
HOW MUCH MONEY CAN I COLLECT ON THE OCTOBER 11TH PAYMENT FROM SOCIAL SECURITY?
Although the amount of money will be different for all seniors, the largest check the Administration sends is worth $4,555. So, if you are 62 or older than 62 years old and qualify for the October 11th payment, you can receive up to $4,555.
However, the average Social Security check is not that high. SSA claimed that average checks were about $1,840 last August. If the first payment is not for you, do not worry since there will be more money for you to party and have fun.
Those whose birthday is from the 11th to the 20th of the month will receive their check on October 18. Thus, this will be the second payment on a Wednesday. SSA sends these checks from the 2nd to the 4th Wednesday.
The amount is also up to $4,555, but to get that much money you must have worked really hard. Earning the taxable maximum for 35 years and delaying retirement until you are 70 can grant you up to $4,555 in 2023. Last but not least, the October 25 payment will be for those whose birthday is from 21st-31st.
