WHICH STATES ARE STILL SENDING SNAP BENEFITS?
The United States Department of Agriculture confirmed that there are 13 States sending Food Stamps. Just 2 of them, Florida and Texas, will be sending this food assistance through May 28.
Alabama: May 4 – 23
Delaware: May 2 – 23
Georgia: May 5 – 23
Indiana: May 5 – 23
Louisiana: May 1 – 23
Maryland: May 4 – 23
Mississippi: May 4 – 21
Missouri: May 1 – 22
New Mexico: May 1 – 20
North Carolina: May 3 – 21
Ohio: May 2 – 20
Puerto Rico: May 4 -May 22
Tennessee: May 1 – 20
Washington: May 1 – 20
ELIGIBILITY FOR SNAP BENEFITS
In order to know when your money is due, you need to check the way your State administers Food Stamp payments. For example, Alabama is sending Food Stamps through May 23, but you need to know the last 2 digits of your case number. Case numbers from 80-84 to 95-99 will be eligible for checks of up to $766 if you are 3.
Delaware will also be sending SNAP checks through May 23, but they use the first letter of your last name. Letters T, U, V, W, X, Y, and Z will be eligible for Food Stamps on these days. Another State that uses a different way to arrange payments is Georgia. May 23 will also be the last payday there.
