According to USDA, there are 20 states that are still sending SNAP benefits to recipient’s EBT cards. Some States do not call it the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.

For example, SNAP is known as CalFresh in California. Texas has a Lone Star card instead of an EBT card. Anyway, their goal is the same, to give money to low-income families so they can afford to buy healthy food.

Some States have already paid their SNAP benefits. For example, Arizona and Arkansas sent the last Food Stamps on March 13. March 14 will be the last payday in just 3 States.

WHICH STATES WILL SEND SNAP BENEFITS THROUGH MARCH 14?

As a matter of fact, only Maine, Massachusetts, and Pennsylvania will send Food Stamps through March 14. Wisconsin and Utah will send money to EBT cards until March 15.

However, some states will be sending SNAP benefits through March 28. That is the case with Texas and Florida. Alabama, Delaware, Georgia, Indiana, and Louisiana only through March 23. Check the full list below.

FOOD STAMP AMOUNTS IN MARCH

The maximum amount will depend on the size of your household. The higher the number of people, the higher your SNAP benefits can be. When it comes to income, the lower it is, the larger your payment will be.

A single person on SNAP benefits can receive up to $291 on their EBT card. If you are 2 people, it can be up to $535. Three members can receive up to $766. Families with 4 people can qualify for a benefit of up to $973.

Average payments may be much lower. For instance, the CBPP claims that 1 person can get an average check worth $202. The average amount for 2 is $372 and $598 for three. 4 members can collect a SNAP payment worth $713 on average.
