Who will receive Social Security retirement benefits on November 15?
In order to receive benefits on November 8, your birthday must be from the 11th to the 20 of the month. Regardless of the month your birthday is you may be eligible for that check.
So, those whose birthday is between the first ten days of the month will cash retirement benefits. do not forget that you can only be eligible for one retirement benefits payment.
The amount of money you can get from Social Security will depend on your previous earnings, work history, filing date, and retirement age. That is why there can be many different amounts.
On average, retired workers get about $1,841. Of course, some will receive a larger payment and others a smaller one. The largest check possible from Social Security is $4,555 in 2023.
What if I am not entitled to the November 15 Social Security payment?
Don’t worry if this is your first Social Security payment and you don’t know how the payments work yet. There will be a third round of payments for those with birthdays between November 21 and 31. For those who turned 1-10, they already received the first payment on November 8.
This second payment on Wednesday will be Nov. 15, 2023, Social Security said. The amounts will also be $4,555 (maximum amount) and $1,841 (average payment) for retirees. Caution, these payments will not include the 2024 COLA. They will begin arriving on December 29.
The last Social Security payment will take place on November 22. Therefore, this will be the last opportunity to collect money in November. Again, you will have to meet the date of birth requirement.
Those with birthdays between the 21st and 31st will receive their retirement check on November 22. Be prepared to receive the money in your bank account and plan your budget before you collect this money.
If you are a Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipient, you will receive your next payment on December 1, 2023. SSDI recipients will collect the money on the same days as retirees.
- November 8: Payday for SSDI beneficiaries if their birthday is between the 1st and 10th.
- November 15: Payday for SSDI recipients with birthdays between 11 and 20.
- November 22: Payday for SSDI recipients with birthdays between 21 and 31.
