The United States Government, through Social Security’s annual payment schedule, has confirmed the next three paydays. Although many payments are generally on the same weekdays, there are some exceptions.
For example, Social Security sends money to eligible recipients on the second, third, and fourth Wednesday every month. However, the third Wednesday in June will not be the payment date.

SOCIAL SECURITY & THE JUNE 19 PAYMENT
The payment that was due on June 19 will be sent on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. Remember that June 19 is when America celebrates Juneteenth National Independence Day.
Therefore, it is not possible for Social Security to send money on a holiday. To get the payment on June 18 you must have been receiving retirement or SSDI benefits after April 30, 1997 and have your birthday from 11-20.
Do not worry if you do not receive your payment on June 18. Sometimes there can be delays since some financial institutions or banks may take longer to process payments than others. Only call SSA after a payment has been missing for over 3 mailing days.
SOCIAL SECURITY ON JUNE 12 OR 26
The nearest Social Security payment in time will be the one on June 12. Do not forget that your birthday must be from 1-10 of any month. What is more, you cannot have received benefits before May 1997.
If your birthday is from 21-31, but you are in the same situation as beneficiaries on June 12 and 18, your payment will be due on June 26. But what about possible amounts? For your information, each recipient may get a different amount because it depends on their earnings, filing age and years of work.
Retirees could get from Social Security an average payment worth $1,915. SSDI recipients could get about $1,537 on average. Paydays will be the same for retirement and disability insurance benefits. If you got the June 3 payment, the next payment date for you will be July 3. SSI will be due on July 1.
