Disability benefits are coming for millions of recipients in the United States. The Social Security Administration set 3 more disability benefit payments. In fact, the only group that has already received their money is the one from April 3.
Disability benefits arrived on April 3 for those on SSI and SSDI or for those on benefits before May 1997. The rest of the beneficiaries will have to wait for their payment and the payday depends on their birth says Social Security.

SOCIAL SECURITY WILL SEND AN SSDI PAYMENT ON APRIL 10
As a matter of fact, this will be the next disability benefit. Those recipients whose birthdays are from 1-10 will collect this monthly payment. But there will be two more checks.
The Administration has also scheduled a disability benefit payment for the third Wednesday in April. That is on April 17. As you may have guessed, this money will be yours if your birthday is from 11-20.
Of course, all these payments are only for those who filed and got approval. They must have been on benefits from May 1997 onward, but not before. The last check will arrive on April 24 informed Social Security.
SOCIAL SECURITY & DISABILITY BENEFIT AMOUNTS IN APRIL
Most recipients can only get an amount close to the average payment worth $1,536. This usually happens because they could not work for long due to their disability.
As a result, disability benefits decrease if you have not worked for 35 years or file when you are too young. The Administration will send the largest benefits to those who earned the taxable maximum for 35 years and filed late.
In fact, the largest payment will be worth $3,822 in April and in the rest of 2024. It will not be until October when recipients learn about the new COLA increase from Social Security.
