Social Security payments: know when to expect it in February 2024

Social Security payments are becoming an essential part of many retiree’s income. This money was supposed to be a supplement, but many seniors rely on it and they could not make ends meet without it.

The Administration has revealed when the next retirement and disability benefits are due. Social Security started sending the second round of January payments on the 10th.

However, there are no Social Security checks this week. In fact, the next SSDI and retirement checks will not be due until February 14. This is because the Administration sends these February checks on the second, third, and fourth Wednesday. So, it is not possible to schedule them earlier in the month.

UPCOMING FEBRUARY CHECKS FROM SOCIAL SECURITY

If you qualified for the February 2 payment, you are not eligible for any of the remaining checks. The Administration will ensure that all beneficiaries have filed after or in May 1997.

So, the second Wednesday payment will be due on February 21. Only those whose birthday is from the 11th to the 20th can be eligible for the February 21 payment from Social Security.

The last payday in February will be due on the 28th. Once more, only if you meet the birth date requirement you can get this money. So, if your birthday is from the 21st to the 31st, this check will be yours.
