Disability recipients can get SSI or SSDI and sometimes they may receive both of them simultaneously. Social Security can send up to 4 different payments per month for Disability Insurance. The next one will be on June 26 if your birthday is from 21-31 and you received benefits after April 30, 1997.
The thing is SSDI beneficiaries can only be eligible for one of these payments. Keep in mind that recipients can only get Disability Insurance if they remain eligible. Overcoming a disability may make you ineligible, so report any health improvements and any earnings increase if you work.
July payments for SSDI recipients
If you qualify for the June 26 check, the one you will get next month will be due on July 24, 2024. However, the first Disability Insurance payment will be in eligible recipients’ accounts on July 3.
July 3 will be payday for SSDI beneficiaries who are on SSI at the same time. However, they will not be the only recipients. Those on Disability Insurance after April 30, 1997, will also get money on July 3.
Do not worry if you are not eligible for the first round of payments. Then, there will be 3 more paydays which will be due on Wednesdays. Payment dates for SSDI will be on the second, third, and fourth Wednesday.
Eligibility for SSDI on July 10, 17 and 24
The first thing to check your eligibility has to do with the date you started collecting Social Security Disability Insurance. If it was before May 1997, you do not qualify.
Those who receive Supplemental Security Income can’t get their payment on July 10, 17, or 24. If you are not in any of these situations, Social Security will check your birth date.
Those recipients who were born from the 1-10 of any month can get a payment on July 10. If your birthday is later than that, from 11-20, your SSDI payment will be arriving on July 17. If not, you will receive the payment on July 24, birthdays from 21-31. Payments will be $1,537 on average and up to $3,822.
