Apparently, it is possible because of a class-action lawsuit settlement. This lawsuit alleged that this retailer had inflated some prices falsely. Claimants said some sold-by-weight products had inflated prices.

Besides, they said that it also included those featuring Walmart’s discounts and rollbacks. What is more, they claim that customers were deceived because they believed they were paying lowered prices for things like seafood, poultry, or meat.
WALMART SHOPPERS WHO BOUGHT WEIGHTED GOODS
If you are or have been a customer, you may have bought weighted goods. Some may have also bought bagged citrus at Walmart. Purchases may have been in supercentres, stores or in neighborhood market stores in the USA or Puerto Rico.
The dates you must have bought these goods range from October 19, 2018, through January 19, 2024. If you have bought any of these items on those dates, you may be eligible for some cash.
Cash payments will depend on the personal circumstances of each shopper. Not all Walmart customers may have bought these weighted goods in that time frame.
WALMART & CASH PAYMENT AMOUNTS
The amounts of this cash payment will range from just 10 dollars to 500 dollars. If you can attest you have bought up to 50 weighted goods or bagged citrus in person in one of their stores during the settlement class period, but have no receipt, you just get 10 dollars.
If you can attest to buying more than 50 weighted goods or bagged citrus and up to 75, your cash payment from Walmart will be worth $15. Once more, if you have no receipt and you can attest to it.
Those shoppers who are in the same situation but have bought more than 75, from 76 and up to 100, they can get up to 20 dollars. It will be 25 dollars if it is 101 or more.
