SNAP benefits will not increase in all States and territories. For your information, there is an important exception. USDA has confirmed that Hawaii will see how the maximum Food Stamp amounts will decrease.
Alaska, Guam, and the U.S. Virgin Islands also have higher maximum amounts than the 48 contiguous States and the District of Columbia, just like Hawaii. But they will continue getting a SNAP COLA boost like in 2023.
SNAP decrease in Hawaii
Despite the fact that SNAP recipients in Hawaii got a decrease last year, they will receive another one this year. Even if the COLA is for 2025, the new maximum amounts will come into effect next month.
