SNAP benefits are already here for thousands of recipients. Millions of Food Stamp beneficiaries have not collected their payments yet. This is because USDA allows States to arrange payment dates.
Therefore, some sent all the money on April 1, while others will be sending money through April 28. SNAP benefits will continue through April 10 in just 11 places.
SNAP PAYMENTS TILL APRIL 10
States like California, Colorado, Guam, Idaho, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Nevada, South Carolina, South Dakota, and the District of Columbia will finish sending SNAP on April 10, 2024.
It is true that South Dakota will only have one single payment date. Therefore, the only payday will be April 10 for all Food Stamp recipients in this American State.
The date you get SNAP benefits will depend on your State. For example, if you live in Guam, you will need to check your Social Security Number. If your SSN in Guam ends in 9, your payment will be due on the 9th. Ending in 0 means you will get it on the 10th.
SNAP HIGHEST PAYMENTS THROUGH APRIL 10
Guam will be the place where Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program recipients can get more money. As a matter of fact, the maximum amounts there are higher than in the 48 contiguous States and the District of Columbia.
A single person can just receive $291 from SNAP in most States. In Guam, a recipient can receive up to $430. But families with 8 members can receive up to $2,581, almost $2,600 in Guam.
This amount is just $1,751 in the 48 contiguous States and the District of Columbia. Visit USDA at for more details about paydays and eligibility if you are on SNAP benefits.
