Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) payments are not over in February. After February 2 and February 14, there will be a delivery of two more disability benefits. As a matter of fact, the next paydays will be on February 21 and February 28.
Social Security has confirmed that only eligible beneficiaries can receive this money. To get one of these two checks you must have begun collecting payments from May 1997 onward.

However, this is not the only condition to qualify for the February 21 or 28 SSDI payment. If your birthday is from the 11th to the 20th, your check will be due on February 21.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE SSDI CHECK ON FEBRUARY 28?
If you are a disability benefit recipient after May 1997, but not before, and your birthday is from 21-31, February 28 will be your payment date. For example, if you started receiving benefits in 1998. And your birthday is on the 25th.
SSDI beneficiaries whose filing date a payments started before May 1997 have to wait. Their next payment will be due on March 1. It should have been on the 3rd but it is on the weekend.
Social Security always sends money in advance if the payday is due on a holiday or the weekend. SSI will also be due on March 1. So some beneficiaries will get two payments on the same day.
DISABILITY BENEFITS & POSSIBLE AMOUNTS
The possible amounts will depend on different factors. For example, your check will be lower if you filed for SSDI at an early stage. the younger you are, the smaller your check could be.
Average payments are much lower than those retirees have. In fact, disability beneficiaries can give you about $1,537 on average. While retirees can receive about $1,907.
The largest SSDI check is only for high earners who worked for 35 years and filed late. Only if you earned the taxable maximum for 35 years you can receive $3.822 in 2024 from disability benefits.
