However, not all American workers with a disability qualify for SSDI. This is because not all of them have worked and paid enough payroll taxes to Social Security.
Therefore, not all of them are eligible for these disability benefits. That is why many apply for SSI when they know they cannot collect SSDI payments due to their lack of work credits.
CAN I RECEIVE $1,537 ON MARCH 13?
Only recipients of SSDI receiving an average payment will collect this amount. Disability benefits could be worth up to $3,822 in 2024. But to get so much money you must have earned the taxable maximum for 35 years and filed late.
What is more, not all SSDI recipients collect the payment on the same day. It will depend on your birthday. Hence, if your birth date is on the first ten days of the month, this check may be yours.
SSDI recipients on Social Security before May 1997 will not be eligible. In fact, they will collect their next payment on April 3, 2024. SSI recipients will not get these disability benefits either.
DISABILITY BENEFITS & FULL PAYMENT SCHEDULE IN MARCH 2024
If you started receiving money from Social Security after April 30, 1997, and your birthday matches the key requirements, you will get your SSDI check on the following day:
- SSDI is due on March 13: birth date from 1st-10th
- SSDI is due on March 20: birth date from 11th-20th
- SSDI is due on March 27: birth date from 21st-31st
Disability benefits will arrive on March 27 for those who get the last payment of the month. If you are on SSDI before May 1997, your next payment date will be April 3. SSI checks will be due on April 1.
