USDA has confirmed when there will be payments for SNAP recipients in the USA in October. Even if some Food Stamp beneficiaries started to get money in their EBT cards on October 1.

The States of South Dakota and Maine will not send Food Stamps until October 10. Even if both send SNAP benefit payments from that date, they have arranged payments differently. Maine will have 5 paydays, while South Dakota only one for all eligible recipients.

The good thing is that if you live in South Dakota and you qualified for SNAP benefits, you just need to know that your money will be in your EBT card on October 10.

Other Food Stamp beneficiaries need to check their case number, their Social Security Number, or even their Eligibility Determination Group in Texas. The maximum payment amounts are the same as in the 48 contiguous States. See the full list below:

SNAP payments in Maine

The State of Maine will also start sending Food Stamps on October 10 but it will continue delivering them until October 14. In total, there will be 5 different paydays.

To qualify for one, apart from applying and getting approval, you need to know when your birth day ends. For example, if it ends in 0 or 9, you will collect your SNAP payments on October 10.
