STATES SENDING SNAP ONLY ON APRIL 1, LIKE SSI PAYMENTS
In total, there are 4 States and 1 U.S. territory sending all the Food Stamps to all recipients on April 1, 2024. They are Alaska, Vermont, Rhode Island, North Dakota, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
However, there are many States that are giving SNAP benefits on April 1 as well, but to some beneficiaries only. A few examples are Arizona, California, South Carolina, Colorado, and Connecticut among others.
The thing is only those who meet the eligibility criteria will receive it on April 1. It will depend on the way payments are arranged. Some States use ID numbers, others Social Security Numbers, or case numbers to mention a few.
