APRIL 10, 17, AND 24 WILL BE SSDI PAYDAYS IN THE USA
Disability benefits will be arriving soon and on different paydays. The Social Security Administration (SSA) confirmed that the next Disability Insurance payment will take place on April 10 for those recipients whose birth date is from 1-10 and on benefits from May 1997 onward.
If your birthday is from 11-20, your next payday will be due on April 17. Therefore, you will have to wait for over a week. The last SSDI payment will be on April 24.
April 24 will the the payment date for those on benefits after April 30 1997 whose birthday is from the 21st to the 31st. It does not matter the month you were born, what matters is the day.
SSDI PAYMENT AMOUNTS IN APRIL 2024 IN THE USA
While high earners can receive up to $3,822, other recipients may get a much smaller payment. This is because it depends on the amount of tax you paid as you worked.
The average SSDI payment is worth about $1,536 as of February 2024. But these disability benefits are not just for workers. Spouses and children may also receive them.
For example, spouses of workers with a disability can receive up to $418 on average. Children of workers with a disability can get a little more, about $493 on average. If your benefits are too low apply for SSI and SNAP benefits at the same time.
