ELIGIBILITY FOR THE STIMULUS CHECKS IN HARRIS COUNTY
Not all citizens living in Harris County can apply for these monthly payments for 18 months. Actually, it is just for two groups of citizens. First of all, you must live in one of the following ZIP codes.
The ZIP codes that can take part in the Harris County Guaranteed Income Program are:77050, 77093, 77051, 77060, 77028, 77033, 77026, 77081, 77547 and 77091.
If you do not live in any of these areas, you may still qualify for stimulus checks. However, you must be an active participant in the ACCESS Harris County care coordination model.
These stimulus checks will only be for those who live in Harris County and are at least 18 years old. As for your income, it will also be taken into account, so check the requirements below.
INCOME LIMITS FOR FAMILY SIZES – HARRIS COUNTY GUARANTEED INCOME PROGRAM
The Uplift Harris County program has set income limits for families of up to 14 members. The maximum limit for a family with 14 people is $162,800. So, if you earn more than that, you will not be eligible for these stimulus checks.
For individuals, their limit is $29,160. Families with just two members can have earnings of up to $39,440. Four-member families can have earnings of up to $60,000 while it is $49,720 if you are three.
Bear in mind that all applicants must be United States citizens. If not, they must be lawful permanent residents as the Uplift Harris website states. Remember that the deadline to file for these stimulus checks will be February 2, 2024.
