Millions of United States citizens have not yet received their SNAP Food Stamps, which means they will be able to get them in the next few days. However, it is true that only two states send out Food Stamps checks until this late in October. This means that if you do not live in one of these two states there may be problems with your SNAP benefit.
In that case you should claim your back payments as soon as possible. But before claiming anything it is advisable to check your EBT card to see if you have actually gotten the money or not. Sometimes we may think we don’t have it but the moment we check the EBT card we see it there, waiting for us to use it to buy fresh food.
Therefore, the best way to check if we have SNAP Food Stamps check in our pocket is to look at the EBT card balance. This card is key and fundamental to be able to get the Food Stamps payment and to be able to buy our food later or to go out to eat at participating restaurants. Remember that you cannot spend the money for this benefit in any place, but only in specific places where they accept this kind of payments.
Anyway, if you haven’t received a check yet, whether you live in these two states or not, you could still get it. It could be a momentary delay in getting our money, although it is not the usual case. Haven’t you received your SNAP Food Stamps check yet?
WHICH STATES ARE SENDING OUT SNAP FOOD STAMPS THIS WEEK?
The deadline to get your SNAP Food Stamps for the month of October is the 28th. After this day, there are no new payments of this benefit for your beneficiaries. And only two states reach that date by sending benefits. So if you do not live in one of these two states, your benefit may be delayed for reasons beyond your control.
But if you live in the state of Texas or Florida you have nothing to worry about, as they can still send payments. The 28th day deadline is not exactly real, although it is a deadline. In other words, it is not common for states to take this long to send out the checks for this benefit, but it is possible that it could happen.
By this we mean that most payments arrive well before the 28th, but that the States of Texas and Florida have until that day to send the SNAP Food Stamps benefits, so until then we could get the payment without problems.
The rest of the States already sent all the checks some time ago, so it is a good idea to claim payment if we have not received it yet. To do this, it is best to contact the specific department of the state in which you live, as each state organizes SNAP Food Stamps payments differently.
